For various switching tasks in MCR technology, an isolating plug, feed-through metal, component connector for the solder-free installation of electronic components or a fuse plug for 5 × 20 glass tube fuses can be used individually in the universal disconnect zone of the PTTBS 2,5-TGB knife disconnect terminal blocks.

The knife disconnect terminal blocks use the system accessories from the Clipline complete modular terminal block system. The push-in connection technology enables conductors to be wired directly and without using any tools. With up to 50 per cent lower insertion forces, insertion and contacting is easier. High contact forces that exceed those required by the relevant standards ensure reliable and high-quality conductor contacting. The conductors are released using a new type of button, which can be actuated using various tools.
