Korenix JetNet 5428G-20SFP Ethernet switch now at MAC Solutions

Certified for rail applications under EN50121-4, the JetNet 5428G-20SFP is designed for industrial use, where high port density, performance and flexibility are required. The JetNet 5428G-20SFP operates in the harshest of environments, with an operating temperature range of -40degC to +75degC (fanless).

The JetNet 5428G-20SFP is a Layer 2+ industrial Ethernet switch that is equipped with 16 SFP fibre ports, allowing users to mix-and-match fibre types to suit varying applications and distances within a site. In addition, eight 10/100 Ethernet ports are provided for local connections or devices, as well as four 100/1000 RJ45/combo ports for uplink or linking between locations.

For time-critical applications, IEEE 1588 PTP (Precision Time Protocol) is supported, enabling the synchronisation of network nodes within a system.

Cybersecurity functions
