Optimedica Corporation specialises in helping ophthalmologists treat retinal disease and has developed the PASCAL (Pattern Scan Laser) photocoagulator. Using LabVIEW and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) devices in this application helped Optimedica automate this proven procedure with speed and reliability.
