Laidler Associates will be sponsoring the Demonstration Zone at the inaugural Health and Safety Ireland event which takes place at The National Show Centre in Dublin on 16/17 November 2011.
In addition, Laidler Associates, which specialises in machinery safety consultancy and risk assessments, will also deliver a presentation at on Practical Machinery Safety, including guarding issues. Using its virtual reality system to simulate a typical working environment, Laidler is able to bring to life the problems that are present and demonstrate how to implement safe solutions.
Focusing on the practical nature of the zone, Laidler will demonstrate how to carry out machinery risk assessments in line with relevant legislation.
Laidler and TUV SUD Product Service are also exhibiting at the event, where they will be promoting their programme of CE marking, PUWER assessments and training, as well as their machinery safety design and installation services.

The easy-to-read guide, which can also be downloaded as a PDF from the Laidler Associates website, has recently been updated to cover the latest information on legislation, including the EMC and Low Voltage Directives and the most recent changes to the Machinery Directive. It also covers risk assessment and hazard analysis, and includes step-by-step advice on CE marking and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER). The guide is aimed at both machine builders and end users.
