Latest Norgren acquisition sees customers access enhanced electric motion solutions

Continuing a strategic commitment to offer the widest customer choice, Norgren’s extensive range of electric motion solutions has been further enhanced with the introduction of a new portfolio of linear and multi axis systems.

Following the acquisition of Bahr Modultechnik in Germany, customers looking to tackle material handling, pick and place, packaging and lifting challenges, will now have access to an expanded offering of linear axis, in addition to new cartesian and gantry systems for multi axis applications. Bahr Modultechnik’s highly respected solutions perfectly complement Norgren’s existing electric motion portfolio.

Bringing the Bahr Modultechnik solutions under the overall Norgren electric motion control product family offers industry-leading automation solutions for customers seeking to drive productivity efficiencies within key industrial settings, including warehouse automation, robotic palletising, machine tending and linear robot applications.

The new portfolio additions promise highly modular solutions with the ability to customise profiles, bearing types and drive systems in accordance with specific customer needs. Ideal for multi-axis systems, they can also be used in single linear axis configurations.
