LEMO adds new compact connectors to range
LEMO have continued their direction of producing yet smaller connectors whilst maintaining or improving connector performance; developments are based around smaller diameter contacts yet with contact rating at a high level due to the continued use of the LEMO contact design, with the inbuilt spring ensuring continuous contact even in conditions of high vibration.
LEMO have squeezed five contacts into their tiny 00 series for which the plug diameter is only a nominal 6mm, making the product suitable for communications and other equipment where a very small yet tough connector is required for handling signals.
A second new product range is the T Series, which is a waterproof version of the widely used B Series and with the same panel hole fixings, meaning that customers can upgrade their equipment (or replace competitors' connectors) without having to change equipment panels. The size 0T range has been launched and stocks are available from our UK operation and further sizes will be launched soon.
The third development is the introduction of the smallest member of the LEMO M Series ratchet coupling connectors, which are finding popularity as much smaller alternatives to standard military connectors such as MIL C38999.
