Locating pins in a variety of sizes and styles
Misumi is introducing new models of locating pins in its 2008 catalogue, adding to the already extensive range of products suitable most automation applications.
Featuring a configurable head length in 0.1mm increments, a configurable head diameter in 0.01mm increments, and configurable shank length in 1mm increments, Misumi locating pins eliminate the need for engineers to draw custom pins and have them machined in-house or sourced outside.
In addition, Misumi locating pins are offered in designs with wrench flats, tip angle, relief at the thread end, and shoulder top radius. These locating pins are suitable for general automation as well as the packaging, medical manufacturing and semiconductor industries. Additionally, Misumi offers locating pins for jigs and fixtures to meet the specific demands of the automotive industry.
