Low-cost 19-way Pogo pin connector and cable assemblies
ITT Interconnect Solutions is launching low-cost 19-way commercial Pogo pin connector and cable assemblies that meet the stringent electrical and mechanical specifications required in demanding environments including medical test and diagnostic equipment such as diagnostic imaging systems. Protected to IP55, this new interconnect also suits other harsh environment applications including industrial equipment, instrumentation and commercial aircraft electronics.
ITT ICS's 19-way Pogo pin interconnect features the company's proprietary pogo pin technology that achieves low contact resistance of under 10mohm and ensures reliable and robust performance of over 5000 mating cycles. The commercial pogo cable assembly (including bulkhead, front mount, receptacle cable assembly, plug with RJ45 and in-line plug-to-jack assembly) also provides exceptional EMI shielding with 100 per cent effectiveness through the entire assembly.
This Pogo pin connector features stainless steel shells, a snap-on breakaway coupling and an interfacial seal. The interconnect's mating system is both tactile and audible, with an ergonomic grip to provide easier handling.
