Low-cost polymer castors offer excellent wear resistance
Elesa is launching the RE.F8 technopolymer monolithic castors, with heights ranging from 100mm to 194mm. These unitary moulded wheels are suitable for general-purpose industrial applications - such as trolleys, equipment and for material transfer applications - with a load capacity of up to 750kg per wheel. They are designed for use on smooth surfaces - including tiles - and Elesa claims the castors offer excellent resistance to wear.
The RE.F8 series feature low rolling resistance and easy turning thanks to the dual Elesa standard ball race cage. Usability is further enhanced by the option of a total brake mechanism on the turning version, which locks both the wheel and the chassis bracket from rotating. This castor is excellent for light-duty, low-cost, low-maintenance applications where its fully moulded wheel with integral plain bearing on a spacer tube provides simplicity within a rugged zinc-plated or stainless steel chassis.
