Low-cost portable thermal imaging camera

The PTI-18 is a handheld unit that can easily be adapted to different applications - which avoids the need to buy expensive specialised units. It incorporates a built-in visual camera so the thermal image can be overlaid onto a visual image.

Powerful analysis tools and report generation software are included and a removable SD card gives up to 2GB of memory storage. Bluetooth technology allows wireless voice recording, and high-speed Firewire enables real-time image analysis.

With a 160 x 120 UFPA (uncooled focal plane array) detector, the PTI-18 provides real-time imaging at 60fps and has a temperature measurement range of -20 to 250 degrees C with an accuracy of +/-2 degrees C or +/-2 per cent.

This product incorporates the latest state-of-the-art microbolometer detector for accurate temperature measurement and repeatability. It is small, rugged, easy to use and weighs 500g. Power comes from lithium batteries that can give up to three hours operation.
