Gems Sensors & Controls is launching the 3300 series pressure transducer. Based on the highly successful 3100 series, the 3300 series is characterised by its low pressure ranges, compact size, absolute or gauge reference and low cost. The new transducers have been designed for use by OEMs in a variety of applications across a number of different industries. Applications include pneumatics, autoclaves, chemical sterilisers, liquid storage and distribution, compressors and any environment with low-pressure requirements.
The 3300 series is available in seven pressure ranges, from 0-1bar to 0-16bar, and operates over a temperature range of -40 to +125degC, offering flexibility for many applications. Standard units have an accuracy of 0.25 per cent full-scale with higher accuracy versions (0.15 per cent FS) available.
Proven chemical vapour deposition technology provides high levels of performance and stability. The transducer is designed for more than 100million FS cycles, with a long-term drift of just 0.2 per cent FS/year, eliminating the need for costly recalibration. Less than 25mm long and weighing just 35g, the compact construction of the 3300 makes it suitable for installation where space is at a premium.
Voltage and current outputs are available with a range of electrical connections and pressure ports to choose from, making the 3300 versatile and suitable for many applications without modification.
