Low-profile high-efficiency 550W ultra-high-density power supply

Gresham Power Electronics is introducing its micro-footprint Ultra High Density (UHD) 550W output power supply the OF(M)550. The product range has been designed for use in applications including industrial and telecom systems, medical equipment and LED lighting.

This new series of open frame switching power supplies utilises a highly advanced circuit topology to deliver 550W with fan cooling and 150W convection cooled in an industry standard package that has a 3 × 5in. footprint while being just 1.50in. high (76.2 × 127 × 38.25mm).

Gresham's OF(M)550 power supplies feature a power density of 24W/in ³, high efficiency up to 92 per cent typical, and features a universal AC input with active PFC. Output voltages of 12, 15, 24, 30, 48 and 58V DC are available. All models feature an auxiliary output to power a cooling fan and an optional cover kit may be supplied to order.
