Low-voltage models added to ZWS300BAF series
TDK Corporation is adding 12V and 15V models to its TDK-Lambda ZWS300BAF series of single output power supplies and with active power factor correction (PFC) included. Operating from a universal input of 85 to 265V AC, the ZWS300BAF features a 10-year E-cap lifetime for superior reliability in the field. Typical applications include those found in industrial equipment and front-end equipment for broadcast and communications, as well as test & measurement.
In addition to the new 12V and 15V models, the ZWS300BAF is available with output voltages of 24V, 36V and 48V, each adjustable by up to +/-10 per cent of its nominal voltage to accommodate non-standard system voltages. Standard features include over current and over voltage protection circuitry and an optional remote on/off is also available. Achieving up to 91 per cent efficiency (24V), the ZWS300BAF features an operating temperature range of -10 to +70degC, allowing 100 per cent load operation in a 45degC environment (convection-cooled) and 60degC with 0.7m/s airflow.
With active PFC that meets EN/IEC61000-3-2, the ZWS300BAF has a 3kV AC input to output isolation and meets conducted and radiated EMC conforming to EN55011/EN55022-B, FCC-B, VCCI-B. Delivered with TDK-Lambda's 5-year warranty, the ZWS300BAF is safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1 and EN50178 and carries the CE mark, according to the LV Directive and RoHS Directive.
