Machine builders exporting to the EU
Machine builders and system integrators who export to the EU and Turkey should visit Hold Tech Files at MachineBuilding.Live. Here they can find out about their legal obligations and whether they need an EU Authorised Representative (EU AR).

It is crucial that exporters have an economic operator established in the EU who is named on the Declaration of Conformity (DoC) as being authorised to compile the Machinery Directive Technical File. Hold Tech Files Ltd is based in the Republic of Ireland, in the EU.
Visitors can additionally talk to Derek Coulson, a Director of Hold Tech Files and Safe Machine. Derek will be explaining the requirements in a workshop at 2pm.
Finally, Derek can advise on preparing for the new EU Machinery Regulation coming into force in January 2027.
