In the 1990s Air France agreed a sponsorship deal with the soft drinks firm Pepsi which involved a repaint for the chosen aircraft. However, it transpired that Pepsi's specified shade of blue wasn't quite as heat resistant as the original white, and as a result the aircraft was restricted Mach 1.7
