MBS introduces Elcom Flat-Belt Conveyor 90
Elcom is extending its popular range of flat-belt conveyors with the introduction of the new Flat-Belt Conveyor 90. As with the existing models, this is available in the UK and Ireland through Machine Building Systems (MBS).
The new conveyor is available in five different widths, from 500-1000mm, and comes with a larger, 90mm diameter steel pulley with roller bearings, making it suitable for heavy or bulky items.
A choice of belt types is offered, with a durable PVC belt fitted as standard, as is a stainless-steel skid-plate.
Power is provided through an end-mounted three-phase geared motor that can provide linear speeds of 4-24m/min. An inverter or mechanical variator can be supplied if required to provide variable speed.
Built with Item aluminium extrusions
These conveyors are constructed using modular components, with Item aluminium extrusions a key component, allowing bespoke lengths of between 500mm and 6m to be achieved at very modest cost.
Support stands can be provided, again using the Item MB construction system. These can be a basic standalone design or something more elaborate - perhaps enabling easy integration into production machinery.
