The ISIS safety control system from Mechan Controls is designed to ensure high levels of safety in industrial environments. Achieving Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3) and Performance Level e (PLe), the system is capable of monitoring various safety devices such as non-contact safety switches, emergency stop (E/Stop) buttons, grab wire systems, rubber safety profiles, and safety mats.

The ISIS safety control system comes in two different variations, each designed to cater to different safety monitoring needs and industrial equipment's.
The ISIS-4 safety control system is a highly versatile and advanced safety solution, designed to monitor up to four different safety devices simultaneously. The system provides clear indications of which safety device has been triggered, simplifying fault detection and eliminating fault masking in accordance with the ISO EN 14119 safety standard. It can also immediately identify open and short circuit faults, adhering to the ISO 13849 safety standard. This capability enhances the overall safety and reliability of the system, making it one of the safest products available.
The system can monitor any safety input from rubber or safety mats using two-wire input terminated with either a 6k8 or 8k2 resistor. Integrating pressure-sensitive safety edges and mats with the ISIS-4 enhances safety by providing immediate hazard detection and fault indication, improves operational efficiency through quick diagnostics and versatile application, and offers cost benefits by reducing maintenance needs and simplifying integration.
The ISIS-2 safety control system is a compact and efficient version of the ISIS-4, designed to monitor up to two selectable safety devices, making it ideal for smaller application or where fewer devices need to be integrated. It features LED indication for both inputs, simplifying fault detection and troubleshooting, which reduces downtime for maintenance efforts. The slim and lightweight design facilitates easy mounting in control panels where spaces is limited, making it a practical choice for tight installations.
