Media converter suits Gigabit Ethernet applications
For cost-saving and flexible approaches to Gigabit Ethernet applications, Wamin Corporation is releasing the LG-4 series media converter offering a SFP slot (Small Form-factor Pluggable) for the 1000Base-SX/LX and an RJ-45 port (straight and crossover) for the 10/100/1000Base-T cable connection.
Operation is simple and the media conversion is accomplished without any complex settings. LED indicators signal the detailed operating status of the converter for easier fault identification. The LG-4 series is provided in two package forms. The standalone unit is powered by an external adaptor, while the slide-in card is used in CRM-2800 series chassis.
Main features include:
