mGuard PCI/PCIe cards provide firewall for industrial PCs
Innominate is launching the compact mGuard pci2 SD security device for driverless operation in PCI slots. It provides integrable firewall protection and secure VPN remote maintenance connections for all types of industrial, panel and embedded PCs, as used applications such as robot controllers or HMIs. This enables business-critical computers, machines or even entire system networks to be securely and reliably protected from attacks.
In addition to the PCI card, an mGuard pcie2 SD version is now also available for PCI Express slots, allowing universal use of the cards in any device with a PCI or PCI Express slot.
The new mGuard cards have front-side configuration memory in the form of an exchangeable SD card, as is already implemented in current mGuard DIN rail devices. This enables the mGuard pci[e]2 SD cards to be quickly and easily put into operation, updated or replaced.
