Micro Concepts Wins Autodesk marketing award
Following a major rebranding and a renewed commitment to growth, Autodesk reseller Micro Concepts has beaten other industry specialists to win Autodesk's much-coveted Manufacturing Solutions Award for Marketing.
Micro Concepts' marketing manager Zak Jacobs said: "This crowns our marketing achievement over the past year. It was always going to be an exciting challenge to create a long-term development plan for the growth of the business, plus an entirely new brand structure and everything that goes with it.
"We have had a clear game plan, not just to expand the business but to become a leading brand in the UK CAD technology industry, as our acquisition of the manufacturing solutions division of Universal CAD and the subsequent extension of our marketing reach has shown."
The new marketing strategy has included the implementation of a new customer relationship management (CRM) system to improve customer communications. The system is being used to understand and identify the needs of both customers and prospects, as well as to alert the sales team to opportunities.
Micro Concepts' marketing excellence is also demonstrated by its newly-designed website that it says has become an example of best practice. The website was presented to other industry specialists at the awards ceremony - and had even previously been given worldwide exposure at the Autodesk Global Launch in Las Vegas.
Jacobs added: "With the recent release of Autodesk 2009 software, a new challenge is on the table. We are working closely with our customer base to ensure they get the best out of this new technology and, importantly, see a fast return on their investment.
