Miniature belt conveyors are versatile and cost-effective
Automation Supplies is launching a family of compact belt conveyors based on motorised conveyor rollers with an aluminium profile frame. These belt conveyors have no external motor, thereby offering users an ultra-low-profile conveyor for integration with machines and other applications where space is at a premium. The thickness of the conveyor frame on the smallest conveyor family is just 20mm.
T-slots on the outside edge of the extrusion-based belt conveyors can be fitted with slot nuts to allow easy connection to other equipment and profile-based machine frameworks. In addition, custom side guides and sensors can be readily mounted via the T-slots.
The motorised conveyor rollers used are smooth, quiet and transport products with very little vibration. There are four conveyor types with widths available from 20mm to 160mm. A broad choice of conveyor belts are available. Belt speeds range from 2-20m/min, based on the conveyor type selected.
