Miniature slide switches are ultra-low-profile
C&K Components is launching new cost-effective miniature slide switches that feature a very low profile, which makes them useful for applications such as remote control equipment, mobile telecommunications and computers. One- or two-pole JS series miniature slide switches benefit from actuators just 2mm high, whereas some slide switch models are only 1mm high overall. Available in single-, double- or triple-throw styles, the switches come in either surface or thru-hole mounting format.
Highly reliable, the JS series miniature slide switches are lead-free and process-compatible. Available maintained only, the devices feature silver contacts, IR re-flows to 260degC solder profile, and right and centre actuation options. Electrical rating is 0.3A at 6V DC and electrical life is 10,000 cycles minimum. Actuator travel is 2mm.
Designed for an operating temperature range from -10 up to +60degC, the JS series slide switches can withstand a shock/vibration to of 10-55Hz 1min sweep. They are available in tape and reel packaging.
