Miniature snap-action switches are sealed to IP67
C&K Components is launching a new series of miniature sealed snap-action switches. Offered in a range of operating forces and ratings, the new single-pole, double-throw LCS series miniature snap-action switches are housed in a compact package and feature a wide variety of actuator and termination styles, including quick connect, solder style, PCB through-hole and potted wire leads (12inch long as standard).
Suitable for space-sensitive applications requiring long life and high electrical capabilities, the snap-action mechanism provides positive indication and high reliability, with an extended mechanical life of more than 100,000 cycles. The cost-effective switches will typically be specified for use in dispensing equipment, thermostat controls, motor controls, consumer electronics, testing equipment and medical devices.
The LCS series switches feature contact ratings up to 6A at 125V AC and 3A at 250V AC. Operating force ranges from 60-150g at the actuator button, with an operating temperature range from -40 to +105degC. The switch is fully dust- and splash-proof, and potted wire leads meet IP67 approval. A variety of levers are also available. The LCS series switch housing is made of high-temperature-resistant PTS thermoplastic with UL-94V-O rating.
