MiniTec SaveGuard aluminium machine guarding needs no drilling
MiniTec is promoting its SaveGuard aluminium machine guarding system that can be used for perimeter guarding and safety fencing. As with the MiniTec Profile System, the Powerlock Fastening Method enables SaveGuard components to be joined without having to drill or tap, which makes the system particularly useful where on-site installation and/or modifications are required (NB floor fixings and attachment to other machine components may require drilling). Although the MiniTec Profile System is suitable for many machine guarding applications, the SaveGuard system includes components that are designed specifically for safety fencing and guarding.
The MiniTec SaveGuard system is also integrated with the company's CAD tools, which makes it easy to design guards for individual automation cells, machine perimeter safety fencing, fixed and adjustable barriers, sliding doors, interlocking machine guards and other separating safety installations.
SaveGuard systems can include mesh, sheet materials or polycarbonate infill, with special features such as noise-reducing acoustic insulation or protection against corrosive materials if required.
