Misumi appoints new Country Sales Manager for the UK
Misumi Europe has appointed Mark Hewitson as the new Country Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. Hewitson took on the role on 23 August 2010, bringing with him many years' experience in sales, technical support and application consulting. He has been employed by capital goods companies since 1983, working in a wide range of sectors, including the food, packaging, pharmaceutical, automotive, printing and paper and electronics industries.
Alongside customer acquisition, Hewitson's duties include providing support in the efficient application of the Misumi concept of rapid delivery of custom-configured standard parts for assembly automation. In addition, Hewitson will advise existing customers and interested parties on applications.
