Misumi has new head of sales and marketing

Stephan Stammberger has made it his goal to outpace competitors with perseverance and hard-hitting measures. He says: "MISUMI has established itself in the market in the last 10 years. Now the company is moving into the next decade with a new strategic alignment. This is a good time to start with the company; I look forward to the challenge." A native of Upper Franconia, Mr. Stammberger also wants to network sales and marketing in such a manner that synergy effects occur.

Yukihiko Nagaoka, Managing Director of MISUMI Europe GmbH, says: "With Stephan Stammberger, we are pleased to have an ambitious and experienced executive on board. Now the task at hand is to develop markets that we have not yet reached with a new direction in sales."

Stammberger brings years of sales and leadership experience to the company and has a precise knowledge of the industry. After studying telecommunications engineering at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences, he started his career at Future Electronics, an internationally active distributor of electronic and electromechanical components. As Sales Director for Southern Germany his tasks included setting up and managing the operative sales business, as well as the negotiations with suppliers.

In 2009 he joined RS Components, a catalogue distributor for electronics, automation, and maintenance, as Sales Director, Germany. A year later he was promoted to Country Manager, Germany. As Country Manager, Germany, among other things he was able to successfully extend the national and international business of the company by implementing innovative eCommerce solutions.
