Modular ASIsafe switches simplify installation

With the help of a new housing connection, the plastic devices are wired simply and quickly. The modular switch design enables users to combine individual modules into one unit, and it can be adapted to their own system requirements. For maintenance purposes, the actuator head can be easily replaced using a standardised plug-in interface. This also reduces the overhead and standstill times.

In addition, integration of ASIsafe (AS-i Safety at Work) into the housing reduces space requirements in the system. Position switches capture movement sequences and forward them in the form of electrical signals. Machines and plants can then be switched off immediately, in the event of a fault.
