More models of single- and dual-output 15W DC-DC converter
TDK-Lambda is adding two new models to its PX family of single- and dual-output 15W DC-DC converters. The fully isolated PXA and PXB Series are designed for use in a number of applications, ranging from factory automation to communications equipment, and are available in open frame (PXA) and six-sided, shield metal case (PXB) versions.
PXA Series converters include single-output models with nominal 24V and 48V DC inputs in 2:1 and 4:1 versions. The PXB Series offers single- and dual-output models with nominal 12V DC 2:1 version and 24V/48V DC versions in 2:1 and 4:1 formats. Output voltages available are 3.3, 5, 12 and 15V DC. Efficiency is up to 88 per cent. Remote on/off and output adjustment features are available and all models provide short-circuit protection. Operating temperature range is -40degC to 85degC.
TDK-Lambda's PXA is available in DIP and SMD-mounting formats and the PXB in DIP format. All models are CE-marked and conform to UL/CSA/EN 60950-1 standards, as well as meeting the rigorous MIL-STD-810F specification.
