Moulded M8 cable connector from binder meets IP67
binder UK is announcing a significant addition to its range of Series 718 M8 connectors with the introduction of a 5-pole moulded cable connector. This now means binder offers versions with 3,4,5,6 and 8 poles for application flexibility.
binder's new Series 718 connector, which binder can supply configured to meet a customer's specific requirement, will satisfy a wide variety of complex applications in drives, controls, sensors and automation equipment.
The new male and female, straight M8 screw connectors have five brass, gold-plated contacts and are terminated with either PVC or PUR cable in 2m or 5m lengths.
Series 718 connectors are protected to IP67 when mated, have a current rating of 3A, and a rated voltage of 30V. According to binder, these new M8 connectors are good for up to 100 mating cycles.
