Movitrac B inverters offer excellent price/performance ratio
SEW Eurodrive is launching the Movitrac B, which the company describes as 'the next-generation frequency inverter.' Compact and economically priced, the Movitrac B inverters feature a modular design, high power range across all supply voltages, high levels of EMC protection, and simple start-up and operation.
Models are currently available with power ratings from 0.25-75kW (0.34-100HP), though larger sizes are currently in development.
Numerous options are offered, including a plug-in keypad, parameter module, plain text keypad, communications module with diagnostic and parameter setting functions, an analogue module with setpoint input, analogue output and RS-485 interface, and a speed control module. Fieldbus gateways are also available for connecting the inverters to Profibus, DeviceNet, Interbus or CANopen networks. If required, the Movi-PLC motion control option contains powerful libraries and a facility to program motion profiles using IEC 61131 compliant languages.
