Multi-component sensor measures loads and torques in three axes

HBM is launching the MCS10 multi-component sensor that enables multiple forces and torques to be measured simultaneously along three axes.

The new MCS10 multi-component sensor features an optimised design that minimises the effect of crosstalk between the axes and offers a variety of configuration options to ensure simple integration and high precision.

Suitable for use in diverse applications such as robotics, test bench design and assembly lines, the compact design of the MCS10 lends itself to a huge range of other applications where dual-axis measurement is required.

Featuring a compact, cylindrical design, the range of multi-component sensors is also available in a six-component sensor version for additional acquisition of torques in the x, y and z direction.

Easy to use, the new MCS10, which incorporates TEDS functionality combined with HBM measurement electronics, can be simply integrated into a system to achieve accurate test results across the entire measurement chain.
