N5 tilt sensor with 360 degree measurement from elobau
The N5 tilt sensor is the latest in a range of tilt sensors from elobau. The N5 with CAN-Bus interface complements the single axis N3 and the dual axis N4. Unlike the N3 and N4 which have a horizontal/vertical measuring range, the N5 has an increased measuring range of up to 360 degrees on a single axis or 180 degrees on a dual axis.
It is available with up to four additional configurable switching points, with each switching point having a selected on/off delay. The flat, compact and robust design means it can be easily installed in areas with limited space, and it is well suited for use on lifting platforms and telescopic ladders.
The tilt sensor has an IP67 protection rating, and it also has an operating temperature range of between -40degC and +85degC, and is available with either a Deutsch or M12 connector.
As the tilt sensor is based on MEMS technology it is a highly reliable device, and the versatile nature of this sensor means it can be used in countless applications from material handling, off-highway vehicles and various industrial applications.
