Narrow profile hi-rel Datamate fits into small spaces
Harwin is expanding its range of Datamate high reliability connectors with the new L-Tek Single-in-line (SIL) male crimp contact connector. The SIL design provides a narrow profile which enables the connector to fit into small spaces. The low weight of the product makes it suitable for use in airborne and portable applications.
Datamate 2mm pitch connectors provide military-level performance at industrial price levels. Datamate L-Tek SIL male crimp contact connectors feature gold-plated contacts capable of carrying 3A per contact. Devices are available in unlatched, latched or friction latch versions - the latched versions provide additional mating security.
Available with 2 to 7 contacts for use with either 24 - 28 AWG or 22 AWG wires, Datamate L-Tek SIL male crimp contact connectors complement the L-Tek product family and enable SIL cable to cable and cable to board configurations. The male connectors mate with the existing L-Tek SIL female cable connector M80-898 & M80-899 series (cable to cable) and the L-Tek SIL female vertical PCB connector M80-840 & M80-790 series (cable to PCB).
New narrow SIL Datamate connectors can withstand high vibration, shock and extremes temperatures, making them especially suitable aerospace, industrial, military and medical applications.
