The mobile FilterCart is suitable for extracting fumes generated during light fabrication operations such as welding. The unit is compact and can be easily manoeuvred around the workplace between tasks or stored during down-time. Available for 110 or 240V electrical supply, the FilterCart comes with the choice of a 2 or 3m Nederman self-supporting extraction arm, which can include the option for integrated spotlight, which enables fumes to be captured effectively at source. Furthermore, for applications where substantial sparks are generated, these arms can be provided with a hood mounted spark protection device which reduces the potential for fire within the unit.

In terms of performance the compact and lightweight FilterCart can provide up to 1050m3/hr of extraction through its 160mm diameter arm, thanks to its powerful and efficient 0.75kW fan motor. The high-efficiency filter element inside the FilterCart allows cleaned air to be discharged back into the workplace. Options are available, however, for an additional H13 HEPA filter to provide enhanced particulate filtration or a carbon filter to remove some solvents or vapours.
