New 5-port unmanaged industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch

Harting is introducing a new industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch, the eCon2050-AA, which enables up to five Gigabit Ethernet ports to be connected in a very small space.

New 5-port unmanaged industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch

Operating as an unmanaged switch in store-and-forward switching mode, the new unit features auto-negotiation, auto-crossing and auto-polarity functions, which make it fully 'plug-and-play'. It is suitable for high data throughput and supports 'jumbo' frames of up to 9728bytes.

With a robust aluminium housing sealed to IP30 and an operating temperature range of -10 to +70degC, the eCon2050-AA is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. Integrated LEDs on each port of the Ethernet switch make network diagnostics fast and easy.

The eCon2000 product family also includes four fast Ethernet options with 3, 4, 5 and 16 ports, respectively. All products have the same technical characteristics.
