Huba Control is introducing the Type 520 and type Type 528 ATEX-approved pressure transmitters.
Huba Control's new Type 520 (pictured right) is designed for applications within the industrial refrigeration market. The sensor is based on thick film technology developed by Huba Control, which utilises a special grade of steel welded to the pressure sensor. This means the sensor can be used for all gases and media in refrigeration - including ammonia.
As well as having ATEX approvals, the Type 520 features a compact and rugged construction, is offered with an extensive choice of electrical and pressure connections, and handles media temperatures of -40 to 135degC. Models are available for measuring differential pressures of 0-2.5 to 0-600 Bar.
The Type 528 utilises a ceramic technology developed by Huba Control and, in combination with integrated electronics, provides high accuracy for all temperature ranges of -40 to 125degC. Physically similar to the Type 520, the Type 528 is available for measuring differential pressures of 0-1 to 0-60 Bar and for absolute pressures of 0-1 to 0-16 Bar.
