New brochure for state-of-the-art Lenze i500 inverter drives

i500 drives come in two variants: the i510 is for simpler applications with a single- or three-phase supply and power ratings up to 2.2kW, while the dimensionally identical i550 covers the same power range but with a three-phase extension up to 45kW. In addition, the i550 benefits from extended functionality such as DC bus connection, a plug-in STO (safe torque off) option and dynamic braking. To achieve scalability, the i550 power section is structurally separate from the control unit and gives the option for different forms of fieldbus communication, including EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, CANopen and Modbus; there are also multiple I/O interfaces, and plug-in options for a keypad, a USB interface or a wireless LAN module. These interfaces provide users with greater flexibility and ease of commissioning, parameter setting, maintenance and diagnostics. The wireless LAN module can communicate with a PC or via a smartphone keypad app.
