Tsubaki's recently unveiled configurator can make specifying chain a whole lot quicker and easier
Machine and system builders working with industrial chain can now design their item of choice with the new online Tsubaki Chain Configurator. Featuring a wide range of design options and the ability to export formatted 2D and 3D CAD models, the new configurator should prove handy, especially for specifiers requiring customised chains.
Tsubaki’s new facility allows users to build both BS/DIN and ANSI single strand attachment chains using a simple drag and drop interface. The chain and roller type, size, base material, length and repeating sections can all be customised with an array of Tsubaki attachments available to meet multiple application requirements. Chains can be viewed from all angles during the process, including the internal components. Further, the configurator provides measurements for both overall length and specific parts of the chain.
When a customised chain design is complete, users can generate a 3D model within the configurator, and can select and download a 2D or 3D CAD file in a wide array of formats. One may also download and print designs as a PDF or request a quote.
