New connectors cut accelerometer installation times

The new cable connectors use a standard two-pin MS plug inside a shielded rubber sleeve, which fits over the cable gland and connector assembly. This allows the complete assembly to be fitted quickly and simply, while providing a secure and effective connection that, depending on specification, is fully sealed to IP68.

Able to operate at temperatures up to 150degC, the shielded rubber sleeve is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, oils and greases, and can be supplied with a variety of cables, including braided and armoured stainless steel.

The complete cable assemblies have been introduced for use with Hansford Sensors' range of industrial AC and 4-20mA accelerometers, in standard and IECEx-certified versions.
