New DIRAK lift-off hinge concept from FDB Panel Fittings
The team at FDB Panel Fittings have found that hinge products for construction of electrical and 19" industrial cabinets require a high degree of design flexibility in combination with stability and security during operation. It was from this close relationship with the specialist panel industry that the new "pop and click" lift-off door hinge was developed. Not only is fitting and removal toolless and remarkably quick, providing easy door removal, but it also retains the hinge pin - so no more having to keep track of fiddly pins.
Hinge release is readily achieved with complete security of the installation by virtue of an innovative design which features a finger slide mechanism which once released then requires the door to be opened 30 degrees before the hinge permits the door to be removed.
Construction is zinc-die and steel for rugged service - while the hinge offers a full 180 degree opening even on side-by-side mounted enclosures. It suits industry standard door designs with 25mm returns.
