New fasteners for Kanya aluminium framework system
Thinking Space Systems is now supplying the two new fixings for the Kanya aluminium framework system, namely stainless steel threaded plates and hammer nuts. Both are designed for use with base 20, 30, 40 and 50 aluminium profiles.
The stainless steel threaded plates measure 21x18mm or 12x12mm and can be ordered with M3, M4, M5, M6 or M8 threads (depending on the base size). The threaded plates are inserted into the profile groove before assembly, providing a robust connection point for other extrusions or components at any point along the T-slot. A retaining spring holds the threaded plates in position during assembly.
Zinc-plated steel hammer nuts are also available in two sizes to suit the different base extrusions, only these can be inserted into the slot after assembly and are held in position by a spring. As they are only 8mm wide, the hammer nuts enable components to be assembled very close to each other. Thread sizes are M3 to M6.
