Phoenix Contact says its Flashtrab and Valvetrab compact arrester blocks satisfy the highest technical requirements according to the latest standards and guidelines, providing co-ordinated lightning and surge voltage protection in a compact, modular, pluggable system
A new brochure covers the complete 'compact' family, which is claimed to offer significant benefits in selection, installation and maintenance.
The extensive range provides surge protection (type 2) in sub-distributions, high-performance lightning arresters (type 1) and combined lightning/surge arresters (type 1 + type 2). Units are available in the form of modules, allowing for system protection for lightning strikes of up to 200,000A.
