New free guide to CAN products and suppliers
CAN in Automation (CiA) has published the CAN Product Guide 2007. The online catalogue lists CAN (Controller Area Network) products that do not belong in either the CANopen Product Guide or the J1939 Product Guide. Listed are CAN-Layer-2 products, DeviceNet devices, and devices with manufacturer-specific CAN software.
This includes hardware and software products as well as literature and services connected with CAN. The products are sorted by categories (eg CAN micro-controller, interface boards, CAN tools, etc) and also by application areas (eg automotive, off-highway vehicles, etc). Extensive contact information is provided, as well as product descriptions.
CiA has published the CAN Product Guide alongside its other product guides on its website at www.can-cia.org/pg/can/. The international users and manufacturers group distributes the CAN Product Guide as CD-ROM to members and other interested parties via mail, at seminars, and at exhibitions. The CAN Product Guide 2007 CD-ROM is also available free of charge from the CiA office (email [email protected]).
