New free reference guide to super-precision bearings
The Barden Corporation has published a new free reference guide to super-precision bearings. This fully revised and redesigned product catalogue includes the company's complete range of standard bearings and updated sections for Special Applications and Engineering. The catalogue is described as user-friendly and an essential reference guide for design engineers, OEMs and end users.
According to the company, this new 72-page catalogue is one of the most comprehensive of its type. It includes highly detailed information on Barden's angular contact ball bearings and deep groove ball bearings. Product data tables are provided for the following product families:
- Deep groove instrument bearings
- Deep groove flanged bearings
- Deep groove thin section bearings
- Deep groove spindle and turbine bearings
- Angular contact ball bearings
This provides design engineers with extensive technical information on Barden products and the company's engineering capabilities.
More than 20 pages of the catalogue are devoted to the Special Applications section, which contains sub-sections as follows:
- Bearings for vacuum pumps
- Bearings for emergency touchdown (auxiliary bearings)
- Medical and dental handpiece bearings
- Aviation and defence bearings (for auxiliary equipment, instrumentation and sensors
