With the recent introduction of its Service Exchange Program, Renold Gears claims that it now offers the widest range of service, repair and refurbishment options for all types of industrial gear units, regardless of the original manufacturer. Its service portfolio now includes collection, strip and inspection, testing, rebuilds, drop-in replacements, Service Exchange, gearbox monitoring, commissioning and installation support.
In response to growing demand it has established a dedicated service and repair team of three experienced, time-served engineers to oversee customer service and manage the progress of each unit as it moves through the factory, as well as managing all work carried out on customers' sites.
The three members of Renold Gears' new dedicated service team are: Dan Tindall, service coordinator, Steve Hyland, service supervisor, and Alex Maugham, service engineer. Gearbox refurbishment takes place in the company's advanced manufacturing facility with the ability to reverse engineer any non-Renold components. Refurbished gearboxes are returned in an as-new condition with a full 12-month warranty.
