New HARAX connectors for 7/8in interfaces
Harting is introducing a new industrial connector that integrates the company's HARAX rapid termination technology into a 7/8inch interface connector.
The 7/8inch connector interface is used in many newly developed fieldbus modules. It is widely used in the USA and is becoming increasingly popular in the European market.
Screw and solder termination versions of this connector have been on the market for some time, but the new version integrates the HARAX termination technology to produce a version that offers significant time and cost savings during assembly.
Cables with wire gauges from 0.75-1.5mm2 are suitable for use with the new connector.
The connector is rated at 10A and 230/400V, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, and it is sealed to IP 65/67 in accordance with IEC 60529.
The first product in the new range is a five-pole version.
