New infrared vision sensor with light filter from Balluff

The BVS-E infrared vision sensor uses light that is invisible to the human eye; it does not bother the operator and is safe for the eyes(certified according to CE (EN 62471:2008)). The integrated light filter shields the vision sensor from most ambient light, enabling it to check all objects to a high standard. The read quality and the reliability of the inspection process is increased by the sensors' 10 per cent higher light intensity than comparable red light vision sensors.

Available with a choice of 6mm and 8mm Standard lenses plus 12mm and 16mm telephoto lens, the Infrared BVS Vision Sensor enables the right option to match the application. All versions have an industry-standard, ultra-compact casing and can be supplied with all necessary cables and mounting brackets for a simple and versatile installation.
