DeltaTech Controls has emerged as a new name in man-machine interface controls, following the acquisition of ITT's switch group by the private equity firm Littlejohn & Co. The former ITT switches businesses - electromechanical switches, keypads, dome arrays and modules, and interface controls - are now operating as an independent company under the name of CoActive Technologies Inc. Within this new company, the interface controls division – specialising in the design and manufacture of custom and bespoke joystick, footpedal, analogue rocker and armrest products, primarily for the industrial vehicle market - has been renamed as DeltaTech Controls.
Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, with sales and engineering resources worldwide, DeltaTech Controls benefits from being a lean and process-oriented company with a reputation for employing excellent design engineers. The TS16949, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 approved company is continually evaluating and developing new technologies and techniques for the next generation of controller products so that its customers remain one step ahead of their competitors.
DeltaTech Controls' Sales and Marketing Director, Martin Gosling, comments: "We chose the name DeltaTech Controls as we feel it exemplifies the three most important aspects of our business strategy: our vast range of product solutions (Controls) our unrivalled technical know-how (Tech) and the benefits our customers gain from our different approach (Delta). Under our new name we will continue to provide our customers with the same support, products and services as before."
