New octal relays for energy applications
Phoenix Contact's industrial relay system product range now includes new octal relays with 220V DC coil voltage. The plug-in single relays are compatible with the Rifline complete and PR relay bases. They are suitable for applications in the energy sector.
These relays are robust in design and have a defined pick-up voltage range of 0.6 to 0.8 × UN (UN = 220V DC). Silver nickel is used as the contact material, which, in addition to a high erosion resistance, also has a low welding tendency. The integrated status LED and mechanical switch position indicator enable the user to record the switching states at any time.
The detectable manual operation also enables system continuity testing before starting up for the first time in order to detect wiring errors. The electromechanical octal relay is available in different versions with two- or three-way changeover contacts.
