New online configurator for heavy-duty connectors
Phoenix Contact says the Heavycon configurator is an online tool for the simple, fast and secure configuration of heavy-duty connectors. Even experts sometimes have problems choosing the right solution simply because of the large number of possible combinations. The configurator supports users in the selection, validation, and visualisation of connectors, and saves valuable time in the project business.
The online tool features an intelligent combination check that avoids incorrect combinations. Project-oriented configurations can be named, saved, and shared. Registered users have access to prices, units of measure, and product availability.
There are three entry level opportunities:
- Users receive ready-made solution proposals that they can order directly or customise to suit their needs.
- The assistant mode uses simple questions to guide the user to the ideal preselection in the 3D configuration and is ideal as an introductory tool.
- Expert mode enables free configuration, allowing users to decide whether they want to configure the entire connector or just one side which is a particularly useful feature for project-related requirements.
The online tool is available worldwide on the Phoenix Contact website and requires no installation.
